ABOUT US

Bishop Foley Catholic High School, home of the Foley Freeze, has participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) since 2002. In its rookie year, the team started with only seven students, but has since grown into the largest club at Foley. The team is comprised of a diverse group of students that is approximately 20% of the school population. Focusing on STEM, they also gain skills in graphic/visual design, journalism, project management and business, as well as robot design and fabrication skills, giving them experience that will benefit them in any career they choose.

We are now competing in Crescendo. In addition to building our robot, we are concentrating on building a stronger team and participating in community outreach. Everyone on the team gives their best work to ensure that being a Foley Freeze team member is a title to be proud of.

Many of our graduates receive excellent scholarships, and their accomplishments include patents and working on Robonaut II, which is currently orbiting the Earth on the International Space Station! Your support allows us to continue to educate the next generation of science and technology leaders.
